The 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid had a near complete renovation.  Most of the changes were interior updates and minor exterior changes.  The look of the interior was given a fresh, clean and contemporary look; far more than the previous models or the regular Escape model.  The interior is still considered to be lacking in certain respects, such as customization and versatility, as compared to other SUVs on the market.
